Central Missouri Phenom Inc.

"If you have two strikes on you  and the pitch is close, swing; who do you trust more, yourself or the umpire?"

All American players gathered at Texas Stadium.  Six of our 13U Phenom players were selected for the All American National team.  To be selected for this team is nothing short of amazing.  Each athlete had to be nominated by opposing coaches from a national tournament.  Coach Andy Evans took his CMP 12U team to Gulfport Mississippi over the summer to compete in a field of nine 12U teams and three 11U teams. CMP 12u went 3-2 in pool play and was tied for 5th place after pool play. CMP went 0-1 in tournament play and lost to the eventual Champion of the tournament.  It's uncommon to have even one player selected for this honor but to have six selected shows the level of talent we have playing for this organization.  Four of the six players were able to make the trip to Texas and compete.
Coach Evans has a 2017 Fall record of 16-5 (.761%), a 2018 Summer record of 30-13-1 (.687%), and a 2018 Fall record of 9-6 (.600%) with a win percentage of .69% (55-24-1).  His knowledge of the game and commitment to his players is a direct result of this accomplishment.
Austin Evans received the MVP award for one of the games played in Texas stadium.  Both Austin and Alijah Mercer played on the "Firecrackers" team.  They finished the week as the 2nd place team only due to a rainout of the championship game.
Congratulations to Graham Boeckmann, Tristan Mckee, Clayton Shockley, Alijah Mercer, Austin Evans and Brody Johns.  You represented yourself and our organization well!
